I
was born on a cool and sunny day of January 5, 1980 if I was not mistaken…by two
loving couples Mr. Jose E. Maglipon and Mrs. Evangeline Dimaguila Maglipon..are
they happy when I was born?..maybe..yes..first child is the first blessings
they received from God so I guess they were happy. After me 3 beautiful
siblings were born..2 girls and a boy. I’m still living here in Brgy. Calzada,
Tipas, Taguig City. I graduated at Tipas Elementary School located at Brgy.
Palingon, Taguig City. I finished my high school at Pateros Catholic School
located at Pateros of course. I had a happy childhood I guess..,got the chance
to played Patintero, Taguan, Bahay-bahayan, Luksong Tinik, Chinese Garter and other traditional games. We are not rich
so I learned to eat what’s on our table. I learned all household chores at an
early age.
New pace of my life starts when I entered college. My first is at Jose Rizal College at that time and now Jose Rizal University. I studied there for only a year. Then I got a job at KFC after a year I enrolled again at Pateros Technological College. I just finished one semester there because I got married. I was married at a very young age I was only 20 years old then. I got married at 3’oclock pm on June 24 year 2000. I gave birth to my first born on July 5 year 2001. My second was born a year after on September 8 year 2002. Being married at an early age is really giving me headache, worries, and problems. I need to meet both ends. My estranged husband is only a musician at that time. He has no permanent work then. But his parents are very supportive. They gave us house to live into. Foods and groceries too. But it’s really hard to live without money of your own so I decided to put up a very small business at my in-laws house. I sell candies, foods, beverages for the elementary students.
Then one night when my husband and I are talking he suggested to me that I should finish my studies for us to have a brighter future, to have a better life for our 2 daughters. He is working as a City Band member at the Makati city Hall that time. I enrolled at The Fisher Valley College year 2009 and I was already 29 years old then. I was happy that time. I got to meet new friends. Do home-works, took exams, do some reporting and at the same time being a mother and a housewife. I thought my married life was almost perfect. After 10 years of living together we decided to separate ways. At first it’s really hard to accept that the man I loved so dearly was not mine anymore. But you see I’m still here finishing what I had started. This predicament made me a stronger person that I am now. I’m on my 3rd year now taking up Bachelor of Elementary Education and I am determined to finish my education for my 2 kids to give them a better future. To send them to college is my goal now. Now, I am living with my Auntie together with her only daughter and with my kids. My Auntie shoulders my school expenses and I am very thankful for that. Living a life like this is not a life I wanted but I accept this whole-heartedly because I believed that God has his own plans for me.
Thank you for reading my autobiography. I hope someday I can write again my autobiography with a very successful career and experiences that will mold me as a good person.
I am very thankful to my family, my friends and all my professors in The Fisher Valley College for giving me so much happiness and advices that I really need to be able to survive this life God has given me.
